PADI SCUBA DIVER
The PADI Scuba Diver Course is ideal for children between the ages of 10 – 12 years. It is also perfect for people who want to learn to SCUBA dive but don’t have enough time to complete the full PADI Open Water Course. Once you have achieved your certification you will be able to can dive anywhere in the world, under the direct supervision of a professional, up to a maximum depth of 12 metres.
The course starts in the classroom where you will watch the training DVD. These DVDs introduce you to the knowledge and underwater skills required for safe and enjoyable diving. You will then move into the open air at the dive centre. This is where you can complete the Knowledge Reviews and discuss what you have seen with your Nesima instructor. To become certified you need to complete three classroom sessions, three dive skill sessions (confined) and two full dives (open water).

- No prior certification is required
- General physical fitness and an ability to tread water for 10 minutes
- Minimum age 15 years (10 years for Junior Scuba Divers)
Please note that all student divers must complete the PADI Divers Medical Questionnaire and Medical Statement prior to starting any course. If a student has any of the listed medical conditions then signed clearance from a doctor experienced in diving medicine must be provided before going diving. This can be arranged locally with the doctors at the hyperbaric chamber if required.
